Great Charger, Poor Batteries

I bought this for travel in the middle east. The charger converted without a transformer which made it easy to use. Throw the batteries away. They don't hold a charge for long. With good bateries it takes longer for a full charge than it states (didn't time it but maybe 2-3 hours). I usually recharged overnight and took around 200 to 300 pictures a day (not raw) with the batteries ready for more. I'm satisfied with the charger for travel and home.

Slow for flash, good for everyday use.

I bought this product to use in my Canon Speedlight flash to shoot at events. My M.O. is to use fresh AA batteries and change them as the flash begins to recycle too slowly. I wanted to try recyclable batteries to cut down on cost and waste. I found that the initial charge took longer than expected. Once the batteries were loaded, the recycling time on the flash was slow, which I found frustrating. To be fair, these are the first set of rechargeable batteries I have bought and used so I'm not quite sure what I expected. I will use them when the recycle time isn't crucial or as back ups and in other types of devices. I'm still looking for an affordable solution.
