I got this for my sanyo VPC GH2. It's too small. The corners are cut off. Near the edges of the frame everything is blurred. It creates kind of a cool effect actually. I shot "Heads Up" (which you can watch in 1080 on youtube) with this lens. If you want that effect, go for this lens. Otherwise.. next I'm ordering a 30mm step up ring. The GH2 doesnt have threads on its lens so its tricky... anyways I hope this helps in some way

Primarily, I use the product in my real estate business. I need wide angle for interior shots for listing photos. So easy to attach and detach, and the lens is small enough I can put it in my pocket until I need it again. I also use it when flying ie: air to air shots, etc.

I ordered the wide angle (not telephoto unit, the Adorama review picked the telephoto one for some reason). I wanted to convert my little Aiptek HD camcorder to a wide angle. This little converter worked great and was suprisingly hard to find. I saw some good reviews of Adorama and decided to try them and sure enough they had the wide angle uint I needed.

This is a great add on for a point & shoot digital or small digital video camera. It adds so much to a camera with a limited wide angle like the Sanyo HD700. My main issue with this lens, is the perk / benefit as well.. It is great to have a magnetic mount to hold the lens onto a camera with no screw threads... but you can bump the lens out of position, and will have to check it before each shot if you handle the camera alot. Also if you are traveling and shooting video, then you need to take the lens off and put it someplace safe between shots, or you spend a fair amount of time cleaning off pocket lint / fingersmudges. All in all a great product with some limited usage. Would love to use it when traveling, but as I hike a lot, I am afraid of knocking it off the camera and breaking it, even at its low cost...

The Sunpak MagMount system uses circular magnets to mount this Wide Angle converter lens on digital point-and-shoot zoom cameras. The lens is held in place by a powerful circular magnet at the rear of the converter lens and lets you get telephoto effects with most digital point-and-shoot cameras that lack threaded accessory rings.
Fits 17-27mm camera lens diameters.
