I have an Olympus Pen ILC and i wanted a ballhead to use with my monopod so that I could take portait orientation photos in addition to landscape. The ball head is simple to use, sturdy enough for my camera, works well for my neads. Was inexpensive.

Would not purchase or suggest anyone purchase. Entirely too small and not user friendly.

Sunpak ball head has a nice finish but lacks the positive locking of the ball head into set positions. There is a little creeping when pressure is applied not so with the Slik SBH-100 ball head which is a better ball head with a solid locking action and better tighten lever.

An inexpensive little pan-head that holds a SLR (like my Nikon D-50) solidly but easily released at any position. A very good buy!
