Good replacement tripod head

I bought this as a replacement head for inexpensive tripods used by crime scene photography students. It is holding up better than some more expensive heads.

very good small head

works just like it should, small and easy to use locks down well and the pad that the camera sits on and seems to be more than enough for most of the cameras we have now

Fabulous

The head on my tripod had a stripped arm screw and was old style. This replacement has worked great and serves my purposes fine.

sturdy, stable, and smooth operation

I got it specifically to use on my monopod as well as on a car door window clamp. I had to go thru a bit of a learning curve Re: working it thru three planes of motion, clamping it in position, and operating the camera/scope combination. It's my first ball-head, but now that I'm used to it, my monopod sees a lot more service than it used to.
