Having several quick release platforms makes switching between cameras just a SNAP! (actuall just a thumb-click, but you get the jist!)

Unfortunatly the cork liner came off as i was taking it out of it's box. I just glued it back and no problem. However, that really shouldn't have happened

It looked like the quick release head for my Sunpak pro 523 px tripod. So I took a gamble and it paid off. This quick release for the 3300 pro tripod fits perfectly on the pro 523 px carbon tripod with full functionality.

My Quick release plate was lost when my camera was stolen, so I called to get a replacement, the Sunpak representative said the "Quantaray by Sunpak QSX-8500" used part #762" but that didn't look right, it was a gray oval and I knew my plate was rectangular and had a cork layer on it. So I looked it up online and immediately recognized part #763 as my plate. So I ordered it immediately from Adorama! for $5 less than Sunpak who was recommending the wrong part and when it arrived from Adorama it was the authentic Sunpak part!!!

I had done some comparing between this plate and the slik plate for the Slik Able 300DX Tripod. They looked pretty much the same...I ordered the Sunpak and it fits and looks almost like the Slik plate with the exception that the tightening key is plastic on the Sunpak and metal on the Slik...for almost half the price, you can't go wrong with the Sunpak!
