Not what I expected

Zoom controls are on-off. Not good when you need that smooth zoom action. This feature seems to be lacking in most remote devices.

Not for Canon XL-1 or GL1

Only on/off and record buttons work properly. All of the other buttons (zoom, photo, focus, and play/scan) cause the camera to pause for several seconds. It is not very useful for action video.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
ARNOLD C  bad quality, no good!!! i not recomended, because just work with several camaras, and after few days ...stop to work...
Shopper  I cannot get the "on screen feature" to work. My understanding is that this should display the status such as "standby" or "record" on a remote monitor attached to my sony cam-corder by an AV cable?
STEVEN C  Try turning off the cross hairs in the menu. If they are on, the rest of the display does not appear at video out . Go figure.
