New Snappie is Plastic

All illustrations of Snappie show metal device. I received plastic Snappies with metal clips. I used two 10" Snappie Filter holders and one 5". After two hours of use on Smith Victor light w/250w photoflood the 5" snappie melted to the point that it will not hold a new gel.
