I use these binoculars often and carry them in my vehicle always when I'm out and about. The field of view is especially a wonderful attribute. I would compare these binoculars to Steiner's which are far more expensive. I would gladly purchase them again.

Used only for birding and they have given great service - never fogged in heavy rain - sharp edge to edge. I would like to have closer focus occasionally, still 11-12 feet or what the specs say is fine for over 6 years of almost daily use now. I think I bought them in the first year of production. The paint under the focusing ring has peeled - no big deal as the optics have held up. This may be a bit heavy for some but for the hands attached to this 6'3" body they fit beautifully. For the price and rugged quality this is a fine binocular.

Very happy with them other than the one time they fogged up in the pouring rain. The fog didn't go away andI had to send them to be repaired.

Designed by birders for birders, the 820 Swift Audubon took over two years in the making with valuable input from leading birders across the country. The results? A birding binocular that exceeds all expectations. And still at an affordable price.
