What a great lens.....love shooting with it for landscape photography.....sharp pics, low distortion....used it in Yellowstone and Shawnee National Forest at the end of last year and was very happy with the results. Solid construction, on the heavy side which is a good thing.

This lens is a great buy with a great price. Images are clear with great depth, little or no vignetting or aberration. Focuses easily. Highly recommended.

I am shocked how much I like this lens. Or, I guess, it's more that it's met my high expectations and I didn't think it would for the price. I'm selling my Sony 10-18 f4 and just using this. It's an order of magnitude sharper, and while not quite as wide, with the combination of another lens that's a fish eye, I won't miss the 10-18. Yes, you have to know your gear because it's manual, but I have found it very easy to use, not finicky at all. I have another manual lens that is far trickier. The focus distances are very accurate. I typically shoot landscape and portrait on a tripod, and lots of night shooting.

An inexpensive addition to give a wide angle option. This a manual lens but it is easy to get great pictures with.

This lens is better than I expected. There!s little to no lens distortion like I’ve seen with other UWA lenses. The construction is solid with a mix of plastic and metal components. There’s even a nice lens bag in the box to help with storage. The aperture ring has a very satisfying click, too. It’s still early, but I’m quite pleased with my purchase.

I like the very wide angle. As most photographers know, 12mm on my Sony A6500 (APSC-Sensor) is like 18mm on full frame, or with other words, to achieve the same wide-angle effect as an 18mm lens of full-frame cameras, I need to use a wider (12mm) lens on my camera with a smaller sensor. So the 12mm is my widest lens for my setup. That said, it seems to have very good optical quality and on wide angle, and I actually prefer manual focus, ity seems to go quicker to set it on the one target within the wide field of view. At the same time I control depth of field right on the lens as well (like in the olden days) by changing aperture. quick and easy!

Amazingly sharp with minimal distortion, even wide open. Speaking of which f2.0 for the maximum aperture is a true bonus.

Underrated for price. Great Bang for buck even without autofocus.

It's a nice lens that's definitely worth the price. I'm still exploring what it can do. Make sure you use magnify to test out exactly where your infinity focus is on the dial.

I have been using the Rokinon/Samyang 12MM F2.0 for Fuji for about a month and I love. The optics are outstanding and the lens focuses at a very short distance. Given that it is a wide angle, the manual focus is not a problem. The lens feels solid and very well made. However, I should say that this is my second Rokinon/Samyang 12MM lens. The first was defective, so be careful.

I bought this lens for astrophotography, have yet to use since I'm waiting for the right time of the month to go, but have really enjoyed using it for other things. Being a manual lens has actually brought some of the fun back to taking pictures in everyday situations.

After extensive testing, optics not as good as I had hoped. Infinity mark on lens is not useful.

The image quality is good. Sturdy. Infinity takes some time to find but once you find it not bad.

The reviews about this lens don’t lie. This is a beautiful lens that performs great! I’m using it mostly for RE photography so the manual focus isn’t much of an issue here. I mostly leave it at the same spot and we’re good to go. There is a bit more chromatic aberration when using this lens but that’s a super easy fix in LR. If you’re in need of a wide angle, highly recommend considering this one.

Absolutely amazed with how good it is! Images are quite clear, even when a small portion is enlarged. I confess I’d have still been happy with it at twice the price (don’t tell Samyang).

For this price you can't beat this lens. It does all I need it to. Like all ultra wide angle lenses it has some softness around the edges, but otherwise it performs quite well. The focus ring has a little resistance, which I appreciate. It also accepts standard 67mm filters without noticeable vignetting (i.e., I could use an old filter I had rather than having to purchase a slim filter).

Great wide angle lens for the price. Manual focus but this type of lens will be used for things you can take your time on so it’s not a hindrance.

A nice little lens and the price is certainly right. It’s fast, solidly build, has nice image quality, and I like the throw. The hood, on the other hand, just sucks.

I love this lens! I bought it for real estate photography and I love it! My Panasonic Lumix G7 doesn't register it, but allows me to "shoot without a lens" and it works perfectly with this lens attached.

Bought this lens for astrophotography but now I am using it for everything! Totally recommended. Beware is fully manual but I really like this being grown up with old Nikons and Leicas this is like going back to he good old manual times.

Very sharp with good colors. Only complaint is that chromatic aborration can be significant in some circumstances.
