The Force 10 delivers a true 1000Ws of power and has an ISO 100 guide number of 540 with the normal 11.5" reflector. This light output is greater than other monolights rated at 1800 and 2000Ws! The fan cooled monolight can operate at 4 or 5 frames per second at low power levels. Audible and visual ready indications at 100% recycle are provided. With normal reflectors (the Force 10 accepts all Speedotron light control accessories), it has a lighting range of 8 f-stops, variable in 1/3 or 1/6 stop increments. Using the same innovative focusing ring as the Black Line 202VF and 206VF light units, the beam angle of the normal reflector can be changed from 35° to more than 90°. This expands the total guide number output range from an incredible 42 to 540.
Packed with power and the latest in digital technology, the Force Series Monolights deliver the performance, versatility and reliability needed for commercial applications and digital imaging. Features include a single dial control for flash and model lamp intensity; microcomputer circuitry for precise light output and thermal management; and internal discharge circuits for quick, accurate power changes. A high sensitivity slave allows multiple Force units to be used without interconnecting cables. The Speedotron Force Series Monolights are backed by a 2-year warranty, with an optional Plus-3 Protection Plan available. |
