This is an older model. You can tell from the picture because the buckles are on the outside, whereas they are hidden on newer model. Timbuk2's website mentions all the improvements in the newer model. Most of them are minor, except for the new shoulder strap, so it is worth buying this bag at the discounted price. I bought this to replace a Timbuk2 bag that I have used almost every week for 19 years. I hope this bag is as durable, although it is made in Indonesia.
