Good free-standing filter set
There are several filter plug-ins for Photoshop and other programs; this one is very good for just a quick fix without having to wait for the big programs. I like some filters better than those in Photoshop or NIK, for example, and some not so well. At the current discounted price, however, it is worth having.

I Love Tiffen Dfx Essential
This software has some really good features.. It's not made for windows 7, but after I lowered the account control setting I was able to installed Tiffen Dfx Essential on my 64 bit windows 7 pc... this is a great software program for anyone who takes pictures.. I Love Tiffen Dfx Essential !!!!!

A nice filter collection
This is a decent collection of digital filters, many of which mimic physical filters. I find the use somewhat limited, and feel there are better filters and presets out there. It is a fairly simple program, however, so if you want to quickly apply filters to images without any real editing, this could be the software for you.

Love Tiffen Products
Great little program, especially at the price Adorama was selling it on special. It is another choice to use to work your photographs to the image you saw in your mind when you took the picture. The filters, the presets, the knowledge you can learn using the project does indeed make your pictures stand out in the crowd.

Adds interesting effects to your photos
Looked at this software before, but when it went one sale for one third price, I could not pass it up. Fun to use, make some interesting changes to your photos!

Great Plug-in

Entry Level but more than basic
I bought this while looking for a circular polarizer filter. The price was initially [$], but Adorama had it on sale for [$]. I thought that for [$] it was worth a try. Hey, I spend that much for lunch and a beer at my local brew pub!It was a little difficult to get the hang of it, but after playing with it a while I am very satisfied. The only drawback is that photo retreival is cumbersome, as it is a stand-alone software. I feel it nicely compliments Photoshop Elements 10.At [$] I definitely recommend it; at [$], maybe.

Great creative value
I'm still rather new to using this, but I'm almost overwhelmed at the amount of effect choices it offers and the ease of use. Highly customizable interface so you don't have to work around controls you don't use.

Simple-Easy-Fun
Adorama had Tiffen DFX on sale and I figured I would give it a whirl, I mean its Tiffen right? From the time I installed the program it was very easy to use without even getting to the instructions. You can do some quick alterations and special effects on photos that are lab quality. If you just want to have some fun or looking to push the game of teaching yourself or somebody else about light and effects, this is a perfect program to build with. When you get to the advanced features you'll be that much more ahead. Great for entry level, semi pro, and pro photographers.

Hello Effects !!!!
This scaled down version of dfx still allows for some good filters and effects to be applied very easily. Controls are very easy and clear to use.
