Targus table-top tripod

I received this as part of a camera purchase package, but after looking it over I decided to return it. I was concerned that it would be too light for my D800E and would tip over. Also, I wasn't sure when I would need to use it. I have a full-size Manfrotto tripod I use for my landscape photography.

Very handy and sturdy

By

This tripod was part of a package I bought. I already had a small tripod but this one is far superior. It's very well constructed and heavy enough to be very stable. Telescoping legs give a good stable footprint. Small enough to fit in a pants pocket. Only thing missing is a small bungee and attach point.

The tripod enables you to take photos of yourself when there is no one around. "Perfect"

Dinky little tripod

By

from Austin, TX  -  Photo Enthusiast

It is okay for a little camera that doesn't weigh much and if you're putting IT on something fairly sturdy. The legs just to not spread wide enough to really stabilize this tripod. Came with a camera bundle - I might just use some parts off of this to create a make-shift camera mount to stick on the handle bars of my bike.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
THOMAS A  Came with the purchase kit.
Shopper  How do you get the tripod to extend to its maximum height.?
LEONARD N  Just pull the legs out by holding onto the rubber bottom pads. It will extend two sections. Mine had one leg that was very difficult to pull out the tirst time. Works okay now.
