A must have
In the current electric grid failing condition we have experienced several brown-outs and power outages. Purchased this particular product for the durability. Recently had brown out power which blew out another brand, made sure to replace it with a Tripplite product know for quality and durability. This surge protector is far more robust with a sturdy metal casing that is very well made. I am confident it will protect the Mill and Lathe properly. Worth the extra cost to protect critical systems.

Great product, would buy again if I need a third one!
I already had one of these in use, but needed another due to some increased computer hardware I acquired and wanted protected from power surges, etc. Had to go with the tried and true brand!

Feels way more quality then those Walmart brands
I buy surge protectors every few years, we have lots of storms. This is my first Tripplite. Metal housing and it's heavy enough it doesn't move around, stays where you put it. And it comes with these covers to plug in the outlets you aren't using. Really nice.

i use this for my home theater system. the flat wall plug is a great space saver. i wish the bottom was weighted to keep it from rolling over.

I would buy this product again!

Built like a tank

You Get What You Pay For!
We use these at work for some devices that we need to trust are going to be slightly protected, and I use them at home for my music equipment and other household devices. Solid construction and a great warranty.

Great Warranty and Equipment Protection
I like that it is solid and the outlet connections are 'tight'. The warranty on the equipment plugged into it is a big plus. I bought it to prevent any damage to my radio equipment. This is just what I need.

Isobar Ultra 6 surge protector
I purchased an Isobar Ultra 6 to provide power to my seismograph system. The Isobar is an older unit, sold as NOS. It works perfectly and I feel confident it will protect my delicate instrumentation.

Protection for my stuff
I have purchased other Isobar Surge Protectors and I like this one better than the others because the plug pigtail is mounted in an angle instead of mounting straight out of the plug. This allows me to move furniture closer to the wall instead of accommodating the plug to the furniture. The mounting holes on the back of the unit are a nice bonus and I can mount the box on the desk instead of it being kicked around on the floor. The cord length is nice so I can plug it almost anywhere. I also like that Isobar warranties its product as well as the stuff I plug into it should it fail. I've never had any problems with the others I've purchased (and its been longer than 10 years now.

Built tough and seems to work as expected.
I own two Isobar Ultra protectors; a 4-outlet and a 6-outlet. So far, so good. The equipment that is attached is still running undamaged, despite some very bad line conditions I get at my residence. They are built like tanks, and I suspect they will last for many, many years.

A product worth buying it serves its purpose!!

Exceptional Build Quality. Feel Protected.
I love this product. You get what you pay for. It is built very well and solid. There are no corners cut making this unit. I feel confident that it is properly protecting my expensive music studio electronics gear. I especially like the metal housing; much more sturdy that cheap plastic. Plugs fit tight and feel secure in the unit.
