I live in FL USA. There is lots of lightening around here during the rainy season. I purchased this product because the insurance agreement covers UPS-es, unlike my previous CP surge protection product. It continues to perform perfectly after a few weeks of use during this rainy season.

I use this product for the remaining electronics that I have. I also use other Tripp Lite products also. I have purchased Tripp Lite products 10 or so years and feel they're the best for me and my situations for getting the best protection and they've not let me down yet. The warranty is outstanding.

Product performed as design. After questionable use by me ( ceramic heater) melted the receptacle the surged tripped and prevented possibly a lot worth damage. Customer support at this day and age was short of exemplary. After a short conversation and photo I was sent a replacement strip. Sure a fairly inexpensive product, but a great support from the company. Thank you

We bought this to protect our bed's electric function as well as a CPAP machine, both of which are always plugged in. I have another that I use for a guitar amp (modified from an antique radio, so...), and I have gifted one of these to my son for his musical devices at home. Indeed, we have multiple different Tripp-Lite devices in our home protecting our computers, television entertainment system, and our separate hi-fi system. Thankfully, even the unpredictable area wide public safety power shutoffs have been thus far nicely handled.

I use this surge protector bar for my bedside electronics. I live in a town that has numerous power outages and surges. I like the simple design but it also provides extra sockets when I have extra plugs. Its low-key design means it doesnt visually stand out too much. Its sturdy, so I know it will last for a long time. My only wish is that i had the option of choosing cord lengh but this is a minor problem. Dust protector slides would be nice too, but since its on the floor its whole life, I can simply lightly vaccum.

I use this to protect a computer and two monitors. I really like that there is an auto-shutoff function that kicks in when the protection is gone. That's huge. I wish there was a version with a much shorter cable.

I like the joules # rating. It's relatively high in comparison to many other surge protectors. Installed on Frigidaire professional series refrigerator. It's only been a brief period of time so far. I live off the coast of South Carolina. Storms & power surges tend to be a regular thing particularly during hurricane season. Time & weather will provide the ultimate test & consequently tell the tale. Until then I feel there's some additional protection.

It's a good thing I bought 2 of this for my daughter's dorm room because she needed one of each side of the room. One protector is connected to her alarm clock and utility fan (I also bought a remote control plug for it so it will be easier for her to turn it on/off) and the other's connected to her desk lamp and chargers (laptop, phone, iPad, etc). The only thing I'm not crazy about is the plug's right angle but I really like this protector's simple features so it's no big deal.

I researched surge protectors for a new adjustable bed. This model fit the bill for suggested joules, had enough outlets, and good reviews. With summer storm season approaching, I expect we'll have some surges and outages. Hopefully this protects my investment.
