Surprisingly Good

from West Hartford, CT  -  Pro Photographer

I've never had particularly good luck with Tamron, but the reviews for this lens were good and I gave it a try... Pleasantly surprised! It is very slow to focus but I'm mostly using for real estate and that isn't a concern to me. It's an excellent alternative to the Tokina 12-24 with a better price point.

Terrific Clarity

from Jefferson City, MO  -  Semi-Professional

I really really like this lens. It does everything you can ask of a wide angle lens, and it does it with sharp focus and consistently good clarity. I had been told that Tamrons sometimes had focus problems. Not this lens. I have some shots in my flickr photostream that show how really terrific this lens is. I would firmly recommend it.
