Excellent lens, especially on a budget
An excellent walk-about or backup lens. If I need to carry just a single lens, the DA* 50-135 stays home and this one comes along (for macro functionality and wider angle). This was actually the lens that made me believe that a quality zoom is possible. When I gave my son a DSLR as a present, I bought a second 24-135 SP just for him - I was certainly not giving up mine!
