Since I have several bodies of different formats (medium, 35mm, DSLR, and 4x5) I usually keep a couple of these one hand because some of my tripods and various other attaching devices use different bushing sizes and they can be easily lost. I have never had a problem with them working correctly and are an inexpensive means for making sure you can attach a body or other lighting devices to tripods, light stands and other accessories. Highly recommended.

I use the adaptor for my tripod and vehicle window mount. It fit perfectly and does the job. It went in easily and does not stick above the surface.

The bushing fits perfectly without protruding from the base plate of my Leica M2. Now I can mount it on every tripod of my studio!

An inexpensive way to convert US tripod mount (1/4") to a European tripod head (3/8"). I love my Gitzo head, but needed this to make it fit onto tripods with a 1/4" mount.
