I am an intermediate photographer which I consider to be a skillful hobby. Pictures are an everyday part of life. For times when I do photography on the go (graduations, awards, tee-ball) I needed a tripod case that would FIT my Sunpak 6200. Carrying it straight in hand was quite cumbersome and unprofessional LOOKing. I don't usually carry a tripod around, so I didn't want to spend (PRICE) a lot on something I hardly used. I also didn't want to purchase a case so cheaply made to where the tripod wouldn't be PROTECTED, PADDING was necessary. After a bit of research, I choose this one. It was exactly, if not exceeded what I was looking for. FIT is snug with little wiggle room (length and diameter). The material the case is made of is really rugged and the stitching supplements that design. It has two metallic zippers on a plastic zipper line which operate smoothly; I'm sure you can get 10,000 uses out of it. There is also a pocket to put extra items in as well as an ID pouch made of an translucent plastic. The 2-3mm PADDING is more than I was expecting (considering price), which offers even more great PROTECTION. The PRICE was below my range. Since I wanted to wrap my tripod in a towel and attach a strap somehow, the LOOK of the case is quite professional. The bold blue letters "ADORAMA" on the side of the case doesn't bother me, for when others ask about it, I get to refer to the site. Awesome marketing ADORAMA, it works.

Perfect fit for the Nikon Full Size Tripod that I purchased the same time. It has a zippered pocket on the outside and another inside. The removable shoulder strap fits in a zippered pocket

The service was outstanding and the tripod case was a lot more sturdy than I anticipated..I feel it will hold up a long time.

I bought this to carry a 24" long tripod on day hikes, but the zipper opening limits it to about 21" of capacity. The bag is well put together, making it seem as robust as you could expect from a such a lightweight bag. Padding is again good for the size and weight, and definitely better than none if you are carrying it on your back or piling it with other gear. The zipper seems a bit wimpy. The strap is attached via d-rings. This would be better if the zipper went around one end, and if one d-ring was mounted part way up the side for better shoulder ballance. Adorama should offer more sizes.

I bought this to carry my carbon tripod on day hikes and photo walks and needed a 25" case. Unfotunately this case measures 24", so is a bit tight. The bag is cylindrical, not triangular like the picture. It is made of a medium weight nylon, has a thin layer of padding, and a full liner. All seams are tidy, zippers are a bit wimpy, but adaquate. Definitely not for baggage handlers, but a good weight for daily use.
