Really neat camera mount

This tripod is small, light and you can carry it whenever you are carrying your camera. It is tremendously effective because it can attach to anything handy, like a railing, doorknob, tree branch and so on. It's great when you want to put yourself in the picture.

Pretty Decent But Flawed

I bought this for my fiance for her to use in stop motion animation. It's hard to get the thing level and the grips don't always stick. Still, it was cheap, but I wonder If I should have just gotten a small tri-pod.

Review of shipping, not of the product

By

from Ithaca NY  -  Casual Photographer

I ordered on a Tuesday and paid extra for "Guaranteed 2 Day shipping." On Saturday, my daughter's birthday and the day of her departure for a 4 month trip, it had not arrived so I bought her a camera and accessories, including something like this one, at a local store. The next Tuesday morning Adorama graciously recalled the order. How did "guaranteed 2 days" turn to 7 days? Tuesday night order was not shipped until Thursday. Two days after Thursday is Saturday and the 'two days' is two business days. Monday was a holiday. All really annoying but for Adorama's quick gracious cancelling of the order and charges. About the tripod itself: I own two. I think it is great for a pocket-sized camera.

Cheap Quality

For the wedding and outdoor use. If the subject in a shade then I can use it for flash. Yes the legs curl but after good use they lose the grip power, very important because you dont want the flash to drop on the floor. I use a bungie cord for extra protection.

Perfect for light travel

By

from Olympia, WA  -  Semi-pro Photographer

I wanted to travel light to Las Vegas and take only my Olympus XZ-1 point and shoot, but still be able to get some night shots. The Gorillapod fit easily in my carry on luggage and I was able to put it in a pocket of my cargo shorts or just leave it attached to the camera and not even notice the weight around my neck. Easy to attach to railings or just about anything to allow long exposures.

A big thumbs up!

By

This is one of those "I'm glad someone finally invented it" products. Instead of balancing your camera on a stack of books for that quick family portrait around the fireplace, the Gorillapod works like magic. And you don't have to drag out that big, bulky tripod. Wonderful!

My friend and I take hikes or Jeep trips to the desert and the Gorillapod tripod has been a great replacement for setting our camera on rocks and tree branches! Love the flexibility!
