This range extender doesn't like to extend the range lol. It was very iffy on if it liked a location, we tried 4 spots before it okay'd one. That spot didn't really help with expanding range that much or making it reliable, everything still ran really slow. We were trying to get better service in 2 rooms just 6 feet away from the plugin location.

The TP-Link has improved the service tremendously. Especially when my son is playing his video games online with his friend. It also has helped for my computer's speed to go faster.

So far it's working well. My only complaint with it was it was difficult to set up, the set up screen immediately started with an error code. I had to contact tech support and that went pretty well.

Doesn't seem to make a difference, plus I don't like having to make more wifi spots. I thought I would plug it in and it would give my current wifi more range.

I'm not really hardware savvy, but I did know that when I went out on my balcony, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, my phone lost its wi-fi connection. When my TP-Link AC750 Wi-Fi Range Extender (RE200) arrived, I followed the instructions carefully and had it set up pretty easily. I have to say that the instructions assumed I knew what I was doing, which I did not! For instance, I didn't know it would actually create two additional wi-fi connections on my phone. I wasn't sure if this was correct or, if so, which I was supposed to use, why there were two, and if I needed to switch back and forth between my regular and these extender connections. I contacted support chat and was told I could use either of the new connections and that I had to manually select one of the two whenever I was in an out-of-range area of my house, then manually switch back to my regular wi-fi connection. Somehow, I would have thought it should do this automatically, but perhaps that's asking too much! Bottom line, for the price, ease of set-up, and excellent customer service, this is worth buying to allow you to extend the wi-fi reach in your home.

if you use more than 1 you have to give each a different name. will not work as a mesh. a single one works fine if you are trying to keep it simple with 1 wifi name
