Great Value
Can use is with my DSLR and camcorder. It is a great stabilization tool and couldn't be easier to use. High value - worth the minimal investment as I will use it frequently for years to come.

The POD Camera Platform (Bean Bag)
helps to steady camera/lens, I used it with a 300mm lens and other shorter lenses, it worked in places where a tripod was not possible.

Best alternate foot for a 70-200
This has probably been one of my favorite investments for my Nikon 70-200 VR2. I really don't like holding the lens with the triopd foot off. especially when I go out on a long photo walk and get a little sweaty. what is nice about this pod is that it will form in your hand and you are able to get a very comfortable grip by forming the pod back towards the camera. also the zoom ring is just in front of the lens so you can bring two fingers forward to zoom while keeping your hand rested. the great thing about this is that it absorbs all sorts of little hand shake movements that would otherwise show up while shooting. This is a great little product and I highly recommend it for this use. and for as cheap as they are why not? I went ahead and bought a couple of extra ones as backups, and so did one of my friends.

Better shots are in the bag with this!
Anywhere you want a steady shot without having to hold the camera or set up a tripod. Even works where most tripods wiould not because it's small and conforms to the shape of whatever you sit it on, like a rock or fence post..ect.
I have not found any downsides yet, but I dont expect magic, it does what it was designed to do very well.

Usefull little tool
I use it mainly for video with my Panasonic GH2 but works well wit hany low angle portraits or ladscape photography

Cool gadget
I bought this as a gift for my brother, who likes it very much. The only negative experience was Adorama's shipping was a little spendy and very very slow.

Great idea
I keep it in the glove box of my car. Comes in handy for a variety of purposes.
