This is a great product and I wish it had been around in my backpacking days. I can see myself doing all of the group shots and video blogs we missed out on. Now, if it was a tiny shorter it would be perfect... but it's pretty close anyway. I use it with my day to day Sony digicam and Flip Video.

It works that says it all. I always take the Xshot with me when I travel; If you want a special effect place your camera on movie mode then while standing in one spot turn in a circle. The world revolves around you and you have a total panorama tour movie. All your friends will ask "how did he do that"

The x shot shaft is a great tool to have on hand. You can take great photos of yourself and friends or shoot a concert over the crowd with remarkable results! Super on vacation when no one is available to snap a shot for you on a mountain top or remote beach. Uses are endless...get one if your going on vacation it will be invaluable!
