Great solid backpack

If you have two camera bodies, a handful of lenses and a 15" (or smaller) laptop, this bag is a gem! Just be forewarned that if you have a bad back or cannot carry a lot of weight, this bag may be too heavy for you once it is fully loaded.

Like but don't love

This is a very well made bag. You can configure the inside to fit long lens and extra camera bodys. The bag is just to big for air travel, i could not get it to fit overhead. I did plane side check the bag and that was not problem. I use this bag if I am not traveling by air. The zipper is under a rain flap and it was hard for me to get the zipper open in a hurry. Over all a good bag. I did purchase the Thinktank bag from Adorama and this is what I use for Airline travel. However this also will not fit in the small commuter planes overhead.

When going to an unfamiliar location, no need to leave anything at home. Everything is there, well protected. It carries comfortably without tiring you.

Versatile & durable - a strong backpack

I've had this bag for over two years and have traveled to various parts of the world with it. It is a great overall bag for camera and laptop gear. I usually pack my Canon 20D, 24-70mm f2.8L lens, 16-35mm f2.8L lens, filters, Canon SD800 IS (or other small point and shoot camera), 7 battery packs, 2 chargers, CF card wallet, 2 card readers, cables, electronic shutter release, iPod with charger, laptop (I've carried an old Apple Power Book Pismo previously and presently carry a 15" Apple MacBook Pro), airline/travel power plug for laptop, spare laptop battery, disc case with 24 DVDs, small address book, cell phone with charger and other small misc. items. This bag has the ability to add various pouches/pockets to the outside, from lens and accessory pockets to water bottle holder. During travel on airlines using these pockets is difficult when fitting in an overhead bin and choose not to attach the extra pockets while traveling. It also has straps for attaching a tripod across the back which also comes in handy for carrying "poster" cardboard tubes or even strapping your coat quickly to your pack if you are in a hurry. Bag fits (barely) in most overhead compartments when fully loaded - except for "shuttle" flights with smaller overhead bins. Can fit under seats but leaves no room for your feet (had to do on a few occasions on shuttle flights). After over two years of use with a VERY heavy load of gear, the stitching where the shoulder straps attach to the body have held up surprisingly well. No separation at all yet. Aside from the padding in the shoulder straps compacting down over time and use leaving little padding for long-term comfort with a heavy load, this bag while wearing both shoulder straps on and the center clasp connected across your middle is easy to carry on your back. With only the camera and camera gear in it the bag is light enough that you don't even notice you are wearing such a big bag and makes it easy to shoot while wearing it. Loading it with the laptop and other gear makes it a bit on the heavy side even for a guy of my size (6'1", 235lbs.). The extra add-on pockets are also compatible with my holster bag which is very handy. Also, on a note that is important to me while carrying such expensive gear: the main compartment has a zipper system that is easy to attach a travel lock (special "loops" in the metal construction of "luggage" type zippers for travel locks), but also the other zippers on this bag (the rear laptop compartment and front accessory compartment) have standard dual zipper setups that allow you to put travel locks through the zipper tabs allowing you to basically lock all compartments which is VERY important to me while traveling. Not all bags have zippers you can put locks on so this is a BIG plus for me. Would like the locking "luggage" type zippers on all three zipper sets, but you can't have everything.

Perfect for my needs.

Tamrac's CyberPacks combine a laptop, digital and film SLR equipment, and accessories in one convenient, easy-to-carry backpack. To protect equipment, the CyberPacks are completely padded with thick, closed-cell foam and have foam-padded plastic platforms in the bottom of the shock protection.

The CyberPack 6 (this model) accommodates 15" laptops while the CyberPak 8 accommodates more gear and a 17" laptop.

Inside the main compartment, adjustable, internal dividers canbe customized to fit camera bodies, an array of lenses and other accessories. A separate, completely foam-padded compartment provides quick access to a laptop without disturbing photo gear.

The CyberPack 6 combines a laptop, digital and film SLR equipment, and accessories in one convenient, easy-to-carry backpack.

More compact than the CyberPack 8, the CyberPack 6 still has plenty of space to accommodate two pro-sized digital and film SLR cameras, many lenses, including a f/2.8-200mm lens and a couple of strobes. Most 15" laptops, including Apple's 15" PowerBook G4, up to 11" x 2" x 15" are protected in a separate, completely foam-padded compartment.

A thickly padded shoulder harness, hip belt and sternum strap distribute the weight for carrying comfort. In front, Tamrac's QuickClip tripod attachment system secures most professional tripods .

This CyberPack is compatible with the (M.A.S) Modular Accessory System. The Modular Accessory System (M.A.S.) offers additional accessories that quickly attach to any belt or Tamrac products that have the M.A.S. quick-attachment system.

Using a security flap with a combination of hook and loop and snaps, these accessories are easy to attach and provide a fast and secure method for customizing many of our bags, as well as the M.A.S. padded Modular Accessory Belt. Whether it's extra lens cases, extra duffle bags, or a mobile phone case, you can now customize your Tamrac carrying system to match your exact requirements.
