Great bag. I've abused mine over the last couple of years and it has held up great! This is my go-to bag.

For a backpack this expensive you would think a basic item like a zipper would be first class. I was disappointed to find that the main zipper sticks while going left to right over the top of the backpack. The zipper tang on the right goes effortlessly across just like it should so at least I can open and close the backpack. Not worth the money due to shoddy quality control. I would not buy another Tamrac product.

I used the pack full of cameras and lenses etc. for a carry on flying. No problems encounter. In fact, if my tripod would have fit in it i wouldn't have to check a bag.

This bag has really served me well, under pretty extreme conditions. I shoot for a local Roller Derby which was holding a bout at a festival as a promotion. When I got these, it was raining pretty hard, which got worse and the wind picked up, eventually uprooting a large tent I was standing under and sending the aluminum supports hurling at me. I got hit over the head with a support and my equipment was pinned in the mud. I freed it and ran for my life. I got 11 staples to close a 4" cut, but my camera, three lenses, two flashes, batteries and monopod were perfect, not even overly damp. Was I lucky, or is the bag really that awesome? Beats me, but I like it.
