I use this product a lot when traveling. Fits most of my camera gear (Nikon D300, 18-200 and 50mm, sb-900 flash and other filters. What I really like about the bag is that its not too obvious that you are carrying camera gear. Looks like a regular backpack. Still has enough room to pack a jacket and other essentials. A bit difficult though to access your gear since you have to put down the bag in order to access the contents.

Bought this before going to Orlando theme parks as I wanted to carry my camera and gear and not look like I was carrying a camera! I carried a Nikon D80 with battery grip, 18-135 lens, flash, cleaning equipment, and sd card pack. There was enough room for my wifes jacket as well as mine and all the other day use stuff one carries to a theme park (wallets, etc). I over stuff it once in while, but I opted for the 7 not the 9, so I expected it to be small. Cant carry my big zoom lens. No problems as this is perfect for a day bag with a big camera!

All Tamrac products are amazing---I got this one hoping it was large enough, but I'm sending it back to get the Tamrac 9 pack with the laptop sleeve along the backside. I hope the camera portion that holds the gear is large enough to hold Canon 30D, 28-135, 70-200 2.8 IS, and a little room for expansion. This bag would be great for a daypack with minimal amount of gear.

Bought this backpack for day trips for my Canon XTi. I wanted more storage than my old bag. Way more comfortable than just the regular strap-around-the-neck typical photo bags. Packs enough for a day trip. Very comfortable shoulder straps. Fits camera plus additional lenses and flash comfortably without being a huge, cumbersome bag. Great buy. Goes with me everywhere because I have space to take all my other stuff (sunscreen, hat, etc).

I finally got to use this backpack during vacation. We visited amusement parks, state parks and botanical gardens and I was able to walk around all day with the pack comfortably strapped to my back. I carried a digital SLR with attached zoom lens, a second lens, either a small camcorder or a flash unit, and other small items. The top space allowed me to carry sunscreen, small umbrella, and a light jacket. I was out in some light rain with it and everything inside stayed dry. Only drawbacks would apply to any backpack, I had to take it off to sit down or to access any of the equipment inside.

Without a doubt the manufacturers used ergonomics when designing this incredibly comfortable backpack. Though it is weighed down with equipment, it fits on your back as if it were designed with you in mind. You can wear this on an outing and never feel burdened. The shoulder straps are well padded and do not dig into your body. The waist strap option is great! You can even dance with your pack like I did at a big wedding - out of fear that my $$ equipment would get lifted - and still enjoy yourself!
