I bought this bag to hold a body with lens and may be 1 other lens or small stuff. I like the built but end up did not fit what I need. So I gave it to a friend. And yes got the bigger one.

Quality design and construction. Perfect way to organize memory cards and batteries. Easy access main compartment. The sling carry is the key to easy carry and access.

The bag is well organized and has multiple compartments. It is a bit small for a camera with more than a minimal zoom lens. It is difficult to fit my camera and the strap in the bag. In hindsight, I should have bought a larger size.

This is my 3rd attempt to find a bag for my m43 mirrorless system: PEN-F + GM1 + 3 primes(15/25/45) + tele zoom(40-150R). I have a shoulder bag and a backpack but was looking for a sling bag. This one fits the bill and was able to hold all the above items in the main compartment. It's well padded without being too bulky. I like the top flap opening out away from one's body as it provides some extra protection. Would have like a buckle instead of zipper for quicker access but that's not a big deal. The front compartment holds SD cards, spare batteries, ND/polarizer filters.

I bought this pack for the quick access to safely stored equipment offered by the sling element. However, on a lengthy 2-day trek through Manhattan and Central Park I discovered that it wore on my one shoulder. I use it to store my 40D, two extra lenses, and various accessories. That's enough weight that it makes my shoulder sore. I also used this pack on a strenuous desert hike that culminated in a steep climb up to the top of a mountain, and I was wishing I had a regular backpack. Essentially, this is a good, sturdy, well-padded pack that's designed well as long as you're not doing any lengthy or strenuous walking. If a sling is what you're set on buying, I would say this is probably as good as any others, and probably better than many. A sling is just not for me.

Great size. The front pocket could be a little roomier. It also swings around to the front easily for inspections going into museums and sporting events.

My wife and I each bought one of these to handle day-carry of our cameras at Disney World. The model we bought (6x) is just right to carry a D60 or D90 with spare battery, cell phone, and Disney rain pancho. After trimming off the "sharp" edges on the velcro retainer straps inside, they were ready to go and did a tremendous job the 4 days we roamed the parks. Everyone else we saw was simply carrying their cameras on a strap over the shoulder - no bag. But I wanted ours protected when not actually taking pictures. I'm afraid to risk my camera to the under-seat storage bins when taking rides or on the jam-packed buses. Too, the vibration of some rides (without a padded case) would be a danger - especially the "orange" Mission to Mars ride. Before we go back we will add the accessory water bottle carrier which attaches to the side.

At first I was drawn to the Lowepro slingshot 100 AW. But after a hands-on with both I went with the Tamrac Velocity 6x. It holds my Canon S5IS with tele converter and lens adapter plus extra lens adapter with filter in the main compartment with room to spare. The front pocket holds 2 sets of batterys, SD card case,extra filters,mini tripod and cables.Very well made,compact and comfortable. IT fit's my needs 100%! Ilove this bag!
