Well... it worths. It is flexible - we may configure as you want and need. It fits two bodies, one mounted with a heavy and long lenses. As I have a smaller backpack as well, with 3 fantastic external pockets, same brand, I feel missing a spot for cleaning stuff, puff, windex, etc. It does also lacks on pockets for cell phones. I got an external accessory - which does the work, but it is not the same.

I use the bag to move equipment from one central location to another. I then take out and use particular gear for a particular outing. As matters turn out, I think I should have purchased the larger model--the 698. The 697, however, is just as represented--except that I might have hoped for larger wheels.

I have a bad back and the 697 affords versatility when needed. I primarily pull my equipment but when needed you can carry your equipment. The long handle makes pulling the 697 very easy especially for us tall folks.
