Today, many photographers need to carry camera gear along with a notebook computer and this is often a heavy load. The Photo/Computer Backpack is a compact backpack designed to comfortably carry this load by spreading the weight across your back and shoulders while protecting the photography gear and the computer in separate, foam-padded compartments.

The main compartment will hold a full range of cameras, lenses and related gear including a 35mm SLR or digital SLR with an attached lens up to 11" long. Adjustable, foam-padded dividers allow customization to exactly match your mix of cameras, lenses and equipment. Windowpane-Mesh pockets on the front panel inside the main compartment hold filters and other small accessories visible and within easy reach.

In the back, a zipper-closing pocket cleverly disguises a foam-padded compartment for storing a laptop such as Apple's 15" PowerBook G4, iBooks or other notebooks as big as 13 ½" x 10 ½" x 2". With the notebook only accessible from the portion of the pack closest to your body, you'll feel secure that it cannot be unzipped while you're walking through a crowded street or subway.

To allow quick access to computer accessories, the front panel of the pack unzips to reveal a set of organizer pockets specifically designed to hold CDs, memory cards, floppy disks, Zip disks, Zip drives, adapters, cables and cords, and other computer-related accessories.

The harness straps are contoured and thickly foam padded to allow you to carry a bag full of equipment all day. The harness straps have "D" ring attachments to add the accessory backpack camera straps (N-11). An adjustable sternum strap keeps the shoulder straps from slipping off your shoulders. The hip belt is constructed of 5000 lb. nylon seat belt webbing.

The Photo/Computer Backpack is loaded with additional features. Attachment slots for the Modular Accessory System (M.A.S. ) allow customization by attaching extra pockets, digital camera bags, water bottles and other M.A.S accessory products. Giant rain flaps protect all of the major compartments and the front flap has an easy-access pocket for tickets and small documents. There is a foam-padded EasyGrip carrying handle and two "D" rings so that a shoulder strap or extra equipment can be attached. The Photo/Computer Backpack is constructed of Tamrac's exclusive PowerGrid Cordura and is completely padded with closed-cell foam. The bottom is reinforced with a thick, foam-padded ABS plastic plate. When you need to bring your computer along with your photo gear, we don't think there is a better way to do it.
