If you look at the photos, you might think this could be useful for a vacation trip when you want to carry only the bare minimum of your gear. But they must have shot the photos using the smallest DSLR and lenses they could find, because this thing is SMALL. If I can use it at all, it will be to carry a tablet, papers and a P&S camera

I have many camera bags, and this is my new favorite! Messenger bag style, it doesn't scream "expensive camera inside". It's convenient, comfortable, well padded, and very inexpensive, as bags go. You COULD use it with one of the larger DSLR's, like the Canon 7d or Nikon D300, but I think it might be top heavy and inconvenient. Better for one of the smaller DSLR's, like a Canon Rebel, or Nikon 3100, plus one or two lenses and accessories. Or, even better, 4/3 or micro 4/3 equipment. With these, you could get in two bodies, plus one or two lenses, or one body plus four lenses, plus extra stuff. Easy to carry, easy to get in to, doesn't have those nasty metal slips that take two hands to unlatch. The only negative that I have might be a manufacturing defect on my example. There is a broad band of fabric on the back that holds a zippered pocket for documents or manuals. The piece of fabric is open at the top, and looks like another pocket, BUT it's not sealed at the bottom, so if you put anything in it, it will fall out. It should either be sealed at the bottom, or not open at the top. I might just glue the bottom of mine. Nonetheless, this is a great bag at a great price. Highly recommended, especially for smaller cameras.

I needed something that would not scream "I have an expensive camera with me!". This messenger-style bag is nice, but unassuming and doesn't call attention to what I am carrying. I use this as a combination purse and camera bag since I carry my camera with me almost everywhere I go. It fits my camera with attached lens and I can bring along another lens, batteries, memory cards, filters, and the other usual items a gal carries in her purse (check book, brush, id & credit cards, etc. etc.) I like this item so much that I have a black one and the camel/tan one.

This bag is perfect, one thing I love mostly about this bag is it well padded and it protect my gears. The bag was accidentally fall from table when my friend pick her things, she was shock and afraid that my camera and lens inside the bag broken but when I open the bag and check all my gears inside none of them damage. This works great for carrying my Olympus E620 with lens attached, plus another lens, several filters, memory cards, and external flash. It's a snug fit, but not a tight fit - keeping my equiptment safe and secure, accessible, and keeping my shoulder and back comfy.

This bag looks nice form the outside but when put into use, it is awkward to use. It's size is slightly too small to comfortably carry my lense and ring flash. When placed on the ground it has a tendency to fall off to the side and very imbalanced. The bag is meant to be worn on the side shoulder but user may find it frustrating when placing it on the ground. Overall, I regret buying this bag. Grade C-

What the Express 7 holds: Canon 40D body and attached EF-S 17-55 f2.8 IS Zoom with reversed hood. Canon EF-S 10-22 UWA Zoom. The monster hood can be stored separately in the main zippered section. Canon EF 70-200 f4L IS Zoom with reversed hood. Note: I always store my lenses face down with caps on both ends. To accommodate the large hood of the EF-s 17-55, one partition will need to be moved very slightly. This will allow easy removal of the camera w/lens without snagging the reversed hood pedal on the velcro strips. Not a big deal. 67mm & 77mm CP filters are stored in the zippered flap compartment, along with a small microfiber cloth. This allows instant access without opening the flap or digging around. The zipper can be left open during the heat of a shoot and nothing will fall out, even if the main flap is raised to retrieve a lens. Nice! The main zippered section holds: Giottos ball tripod. Lens cleaning accessories. Spare battery and charger. Lens hood for EF-s 10-22mm UWA Zoom. Camera manual. What it does: Allows very quick exchange of lenses and filters without removing the bag. Once acclimated to the bag, it's user can easily retrieve items without looking, even while walking. It's as if your camera gear suddenly becomes part of you. Very nice! In 40+ years of playing with cameras, I have never owned such a practical bag. My Tamrac Expedition backpack is great to take on camping and fishing trips, but is very cumbersome for everyday use. My Domke bag holds nearly every lens I own, but its weight is oppressive. The Express 7 is the bag I prefer for every day use. I can take it with me everywhere and it never becomes burdensome. I'm now more likely to have a camera with me when those rare opportunities suddenly appear. The well padded "across the body" strap is very comfortable, permitting this "Jurassic Geezer" to wear the Express 7 all day, if need be. There's no need to keep one hand on the strap to prevent it from falling off your shoulder. Both hands are always free and the bag never gets in the way. Sweet! The Express 7 is very stylish and folks don't seem to mind it's presence. I can't think of any real weaknesses to this product. It's not a bag for severe weather. That Tamrac used suede on the cover suggests this is true. My impression is that my gear will be well protected from any rain or snow one may see during a short walk, but probably not much else. I can live with this. Camera bags are a lot like fishing tackle boxes in that finding that elusive 'right one' can be a daunting task. To me the Express 7 represents intelligent design at a fair price. It is ideal for those photographers who want to travel light, yet carry enough gear to handle most situations. I give it five stars!
