Great Lens Case

By

This is a really great lens case. Fits my wide-angle nicely, but it will not store the lens hood. I did anticipate that however prior to purchase. I wish Tamrac would produce the same case only with a 5 inch internal depth. This case is a little too tight for the Canon 18-135 IS lens and certainly does not fit the hood. The Canon 18-135 IS lens does fit, but another 1/4 to 1/2 inch would be perfect considering the bit of added length a filter adds to the lens. As with all of Tamrac's MAS gear, the velcro belt loop has snaps for added security in holding it onto your belt.

wished it was a tad bigger

By

from irvine, ca  -  Photo Enthusiast

i wished it was a bit deeper. it cant even fit my wide angle 12-24 lens, and i felt the "large" would have been too big. otherwise, everything else seems satisfactory.

Nice, quality case

Quality built construction. Adequately protects the lens from possibly becoming damaged during transport and/or during storage. Have them for all my lenses that didn't come with a hard case from the factory.
