Questions & Answers

Shopper : Which eyepiece do I need for the Sony A7R III?LEE L : I have no idea,I'm Nikon only.
BARTON P : Which model eyepiece adaptor will I need for my Nikon D90 and for the D800?MURRAY C : not sure about the d90. for the d800, i have a smallish screw in nikon rubber shade that the eyepiece just barely will squeeze around. having said that, i found this cover to be a bit too much hassle for the infrequent bad weather shooting i was doing. so mine is rarely used.RUBEN C : You will need the EP-NSI for the D800 and the EP-N for the D90.KENNETH B : The term "eyepiece adaptor" is too vague. A better explanation of what the customer is looking for is needed.
BARTON P : I have a Nikon D90, although I will be upgrading to a D800 soon. My shortest lens is the DX AF-S Nikkor 10-24mm and my longest is the ED AF Nikkor 70-300mm with other lenses in between. Will this rain cover work with all my lenses?THE W : I have a D4 and D800 I use the 70-200 cover for my 70-200 and smaller....although with the smaller lenses it is kind of makeshift but it will work. Can't tell you on the 300. depends how close it is to the 70-200 in sizeJASON W : It fits the big lens like 70-200f/2.8. Kind hard to fit comfortably with short lens. Especially lens openings are smaller than 77mm. Besides, you need to buy eyepiece adapter for your camera.RAY R : I can't see it working with the 10-24, and even your other lens -if it's the type where it's length changes, it's likely too narrow of a lens for the cover to grip and the in and out movement will keep pulling loose from the cover. I use it with my 70-200 which has a 77mm filter size and doesn't change length while zooming. ADAM T : I would not recommend this cover for what you want. Even with a 24 -70mm there is a lot of extra material to deal with. BENNY M C : I appreciate your concern about protecting your lenses and camera because I did a lot of research before going to Think Tank. I do have some reservations about making a solid recommendation, but only because I have all Canon cameras and lenses. Shapes and Volume make a difference. It is my opinion that Think Tank makes the best equipment for using your equipment in the field. My suggestion is to please call Think Tank and ask to talk to someone who has the best experience with your brand and types of equipment. Adorama has one person (I do not have his telephone number at this location) that handles the Think Tank transactions. If you call Adorama you can get the number to call him and ask to whom you should speak at Think Tank. I have talked with Think Tank Staff several times and they helped a great deal in making a truly satisfactory. decision. As for as brands for use and protection of your photography equipment, again, my suggestion is to stay with Think Tank.

Recomended

It's great to one of this. I just wish it will come with the eye piece, which I forgot to order it. Other than that, is great.

Great Product from a Great Company

I bought this to use on my Canon 60D with EF-S 17-55mm lens attached. It works exactly as described, keeping everything dry in heavy rain. I especially like the fact that it can be used on a tripod and that it has its own neck strap. This is a very well thought out design. The construction is solid and very durable. Shortly after owning it, the supplied lens cover went missing. I went to the Think Tank website and sent an email to their customer service inquiring about how I could go about ordering a new one. I recieved a prompt reply that they would send me a replacement immediately and at no charge. They even threw in a cleaner for the clear vinyl on the cover. Now, that is what I call excellent customer service! I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to keep their gear dry and dust free. Think Tank is an excellent company producing extremely well designed products while offering over the top customer service.
