The conclusion, " extremely powerful, compact instrument capable of delivering stunning images of the universe."

The Better View Desired website reviewer summed up the Tele Vue "experience" when he said he would choose the Tele Vue-85, " really enjoy the incredible beauty of the living birds... And, even now, every time I look at a bird through one of the exceptional conventional spotting scopes, I'll be thinking: "I wonder what this would look like through the Tele Vue-85? I wonder what this bird really looks like?" Yes, pure enjoyment of nature's beauty without awareness of a thing in between.

The Perfect Small Apo!!

from Southbury, CT  -  Casual/ Recreational

I moved from the TV-76 to the TV-85 and feel it the perfect "Grab & Go" scope for astronomy! I've put it on a DiscMount(DM)-4 and it's quite a combination! Light weight, smaller size- but with a big enough aperture of quality lenses for serious study of the night sky. My wife loves it for bird watching also! The TV-76 was also wonderful but we wanted a little more size- we found it with this exceptional scope. As a side note, I had called TeleVue with questions about the TV-85 and talked to Al Nagler himself. It was Al who told me to call Adorama (quite a recommendation for Adorama!).
