I bought these headphone mostly because of how they looked and partly because my ears were getting sore from using ear buds all the time. The good: I love the design of these headphones. They are very cleverly encased in a wool tweed which makes them stand out in the crowd of boring black headphones. The extra headphone jack located just below one of the ear pieces is a definite bonus, especially for plane rides. I also appreciate the fact that UE included an adapter jack. Finally, the fact that it's foldable allows some portability. The bad: It's a little pricey if you compare it with other entry level head phones. Also, I didn't like how the part of the head phones that actually touch your head/ear is made of synthetic material. The material can get irritating if against your skin for many hours. Lastly, although the head phones can be folded up, they are still bulky so I keep these at home or for long trips. I didn't comment on the sound quality because I wouldn't be able to gauge it. I use it for listening to lectures. Only occasionally do I use it for music - and when I do, these sound just like any other head phones. Sorry music buffs! Wish I could tell you more!
