Video Editing Master Class Editing on the Right Side of the Brain VASST and Kino Gil

Join Kino Gil for an insider view of the multiple dynamics of the craft of editing, presented by a filmmaker whose editorial and post work is known for excellence and innovation.

This DVD is an exploration of the editing craft designed to give you a whole new outlook on the way to approach an editing project and the tools to go with it, regardless of the editing platform or tools present, past and, yes, Virginia, future ones too.

How do editing pros make all those wonderful choices the Industry celebrates with prizes and more gigs? How do they know what are the choices to begin with? How can I make decisions like those in my projects?

Joaquin (Kino) Gil is a digital artist and filmmaker whose work dynamically bridges across traditional audiovisual art forms. Producion, editing, animation, computer graphics, direction, writing, camera and lights work, design, programming, sound, music, props, costumes.

Before setting up his "Kino.digital" production shop in 2001, Kino acted as contributing effects editor to high-end projects like Starship Troopers, Contact, As Good as It Gets and Godzilla and finally he co-directed, edited and composed music for two European TV films based on works from the Swedish playwright Auguste Strindberg: "The Strongest" and "Gaslight".
