Excellent Card for Live Streaming

I use this card to Live Stream through Wirecast for Youtube Nonprofit Partners. I connected the HDMI output from our Atem 1 mixer to the HDMI input on this card. Everything works great, but you'll definitely want to make sure you use a Windows 7 machine with an i3 processor or better for the best reliability.

Great card Simple to Install

This card is exactly what I was looking for. Analog i/o plus HDMI i/o. And it came at a price that doesn't break the bank!

Very specific needs, very complicated.

good product, though not for everyone. drivers are complex and difficult to use, no real software included just an SDK

Good investment

The user has to have his act together with knowledge of the many codecs used in HD editing, etc. Once all of this marvelous unit has its correct settings, the images for projection and monitors is very good. I am still in the learning curve of what it's potential output, however for reviewing and editing on a big screen, it works well. I am using MacPro and it has some quirky starts and re starting the computer has been necessary on occasions when FCP won't fire up the output card.

Using this for xbox360 capture, works great.

The Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro HDMI Editing Card is an excellent choice for your digital and analog capture needs. The card fully supports NTSC, PAL and HD video via HDMI, component, composite or S-Video. It supports two channels of embedded, RCA or S/PDIF audio at television-standard sampling rates. The Intensity Pro supports 4:2:2 color sampling for superior chromakey performance. The card can work with both Windows and Macintosh computers, making it an excellent choice for your editing needs regardless of your operating platform.

Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro HDMI Editing Card, Features

  • True HDMI Digital Connections: Intensity features HDMI-in for connecting to cameras and digital set-top boxes for the highest quality capture. Get higher quality capture from HD cameras by capturing direct and bypassing the HDV compression chip for high quality video captured
  • Go Beyond HDV Video Quality: HDV video compression suffers from not being full 1920 HD resolution and the extra processing required makes editing difficult. With Intensity, you can now capture and play back full resolution HDTV uncompressed video for true broadcast and feature film quality editing
  • Live Production with On-Air 2.0: Experience the incredible excitement of filming events live. Included with Intensity is Blackmagic On-Air 2.0, which allows two Intensity boards to be plugged into Apple Mac Pro systems for live mixing between two HD or SD cameras
  • Windows and Mac OS X Compatible: Plug into Windows or Mac OS X computers with the same card and use your favorite software, including Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Fusion and many more
  • Professional Video Standards: Instantly switch between HD and SD video standards including HDTV 1080i/59.94, 1080i/50, 720p/59.94, 720p/50, NTSC and PAL
