Designed and built with both professional video facility installation pundits and HDTV home cinema enthusiasts in mind, this unit offers twisted pair (RJ-45) signal conversion from multi-format (15-pin HD) video and summed stereo audio (3.5mm mini-jack) inputs.

It's compatible with HDTV signals, supports resolutions up to WUXGA and 1080p and works in conjunction with Kramer Electronics' Cobra series receivers and matrix switchers. When paired with the required Cobra receiver, the Cobra TWA offers a system range of up to 1300' (400 m); it's an ideal solution for sending computer graphics video, HDTV signals and summed stereo audio (converted to mono) over shielded or unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cabling such as standard CAT5, 5e, or 6 (Ethernet network cable).

In addition, its high-quality video transport circuitry supports RGBHV, RGB, S-Video, Component, Composite and HDTV (1080p @ 60Hz) signals (receiver dependent). Accurate video sync reproduction and stable imagery over long distance transmission is possible with the unit's Tru-Sync technology. Its single gang-box style design fits into a standard sized lighting switch box or low-voltage J-box; and it's compatible with standard Decora wall plate covers to match your rooms decor.
