About Kramer Electronics TP-954
The Kramer Electronics TP-954 DVI & Audio over Twisted Pair Receiver converts input signals (DVI video and unbalanced stereo, S/PDIF, TOSLINK audio signals) to a twisted pair signal. When coupled with a TP-953 Transmitter, it allows transmission of signals up to a distance of 295' (90m) via STP (shielded twisted pair) cables and offers data rates up to 1.65Gbps. It is compatible with HDTV and HDCP signals, the TP-954 DVI & Audio over Twisted Pair Receiver supports a maximum resolution of WUXGA & 1080p.With selectable EQ (Gain) knob, you can adjust the output of the receiver. The 4 units can be rack mounted side-by-side in a 1U rack space with the optional RK-1 universal rack adaptor.

- Cable: For optimum range and performance use, use Kramer's BC-DGKat524, BC-DGKat623 and BC-DGKat723 cables. Note that the transmission range depends on the signal resolution, graphics card and display used. The distance using non-Kramer CAT 5, CAT 6 and CAT 7 cables may not reach these ranges
- Compact MultiTOOLS: 4 units can be rack mounted side-by-side in a 1U rack space with the optional RK-1 universal rack adapter
