Red M : Hello Friends, Can I daisy-chain an older LaCie Rugged drive I bought in 2009 (with Firewire 800 port) onto this drive? Will they both show up on my desktop? I currently have a MacBook Pro running 10.5.8 and will soon get the latest 21" iMac running Mavericks. THANKS!JERRY C : I've only daisy-chained two of this same model, which works fine. If the older one also has FireWire 800 capabilities, I'd expect it to work with the newer unit as well.
