Jay H : is this MAC compatible? thank you JayRONALD P : In the promotional materials and on the Adorama web site it was said to be Mac compatible but it is not working with my Mac. La Cie want to charge $14.95 for me to talk to a human to find out about it. I have sent them an e mail (not easy on their unfriendly site) and if I do not get a good answer I will be returning the hard drive.CHRIS D : Yes; basically just plug it in...simple and ready to go!JIM R : Yes, very compatible. saved many years of work

We had a problem with our main 2TB ext. G-Drive and lost some files, these were fortunately backed up on a mirror drive. Both my wife and my laptops were backed up to a time capsule which failed virtually simultaneously. I purchased this small drive on recommendation from Adorama and quickly backed up both (MacBook Pro) laptops on this 1TB drive very easily and saved many years of work. thanks. Alen MacW
