I am a avid non-pro photographer. I shoot with a Lumix GH3, OM-D EM-1 and GX1. This tripod is rock solid with a Vanguard BBH-200 head. It is easy to use/adjust and very light. The self leveling feature works. There are no cons - only acolades for a great tripod.

Generally, this is a solid product that will give years of great service and flexibility to take unique or difficult shots. The legs can bite you if you are not careful, especially if you decide to pick it up by the legs when they are in the widest spread position. Grab it by the head if you need to move it or the legs can swing in suddenly and pinch your fingers. Other than that little annoyance, the tripod is stable and strong. The carbon fiber construction can be a little springy at full extensions, but it never feels like it will snap like aluminum.

Want to get low? This does it. Very versitle and functional for nearly any type of photography (and video). Light but very sturey in any position. Clearly the best, most sturdy, and most functional tripod in its price renge, or for that matter, better than most in much higher price ranges.

This was a good buy. It is a little heavier than I thought it would be but it is also very stable. I love how the center column can be adjusted all around and it is very easy to use. I went with this one because I felt if I bought it it would be the last one I would need for quite some time.

Great for macro photography, prevents blury slow shutter speed photos. Also good for panning and videos.
