This bag could be a real winner if it was just a tad bigger. Not sure why the specs say it could fit a DSLR + 3 lenses since it barely fit my Canon 5D2 and a 24-70 lens. To say the interior is snug is an understatement. A half inch taller and half inch deeper would help immensely. And sadly, the batteries have the potential to slip out from the holders. So why am I keeping it? Because I needed a lighter bag for my street photography adventures and this was the best I could find. The Vanguard carries my camera + one lens, my point and shoot in the top pocket, two phones, my reading glasses (old age has hit me) PLUS the hidden side pocket is awesome. I can put my airline tickets in it without bending. This is a feature I wish more companies would include! We travel with these things, so make it convenient to travel with! The bag is far from perfect but there weren't any other choices out there. The trend seems to be toward enormous bags that carry everything (camera, tablet, drone), but I just needed something like this Vanguard to walk comfortably around the streets of Manhattan.. If Vanguard ever replaces this model with a slightly larger interior I would get it in a heartbeat.

Maybe I don't know what I'm doing but this camera sling is difficult to use and very uncomfortable. Not something I plan to use after trying it on 2 hikes.
