Big Vanguard fan!!

This is the 3rd Vanguard that I have. The first one and why I became a fan is the Airborne 46. Their built is strong yet very light, easy to access and great to carry your gear. I bought this one for those situations when you don't want to carry all your gear

Great Bag!!!

Great Bag. Excellent for protecting and carrying your gear. The only downside is that it is a little difficult to access the main compartment due to heavy velcro and zippers which make it hard to access but it does protect your gear very well though.

A Great Bag

This is a great bag. For wedding or portrait work, I simply use my shoulder bag as I don't have to carry it all the time. For nature, I used to use an Art Wolfe backpack. It's get the job done but not very comfortable. With the Uprise 48, I can use it for both nature and street or travel photography. It fits a D700 with a 70-200 attached, another body if needed, and/or a wide angle 17-35, plus a micro and flash. The biggest plus, of course, is the side opening...getting the camera out without taking it off both shoulders....great feature for street photography. The tripod pocket is nice and big enough for my 60 inch tripods. When put everything on, it well balanced on my shoulder. My Macbook pro fit nicely in its own place. I only wish it had more mesh pocket inside, and a water bottle place. But no biggie as I can hang a water bottle pocket on a strap easily. Overall, a great bag!
