The Vanguard VEO AM-324 is an awesome monopod. Very stout in construction and I fairly lightweight enough to not bog you down while walking around. I'd totally buy this again

It's sturdy and clamps hold well but a tad to heavy. Makes a fine walking stick with little slippage.

Used this pod a few times and the clamps started to slip. I tightened and it actually started squashing the legs to an oval shape and still slipped.

This monopod has become my go to camera accessory. It is very well built however, it is not as compact as i would like it to be and it is a little on the heavier side, but overall it is a great product. I also wish that it came with a moveable head, but i can get that separately. I would definitely purchase again.

Just a tad heavy but well made and strong. A very solid product. I have to wait for shots often and this monopod takes a lot of weight off my shoulder and back. Flip locks are super and far better than twist locks. Glad I bought it!

Bought two of them. Found 3 leg base which is suitable for this. Good set up to hold a DSLR. I recommend this from Adorama.

I snapped my old monopod on the sidelines of a recent football game and needed a new one quickly so I ordered it online without seeing it in person. This is a well made monopod. It's my first monopod, so I don't have much to compare it with.Everything is good and steardy. The only thing I worry is the cap that covers the areas where you screw on the camera. It's a pubber plastivc cap and I get the feeling that if It's used too much, the rubber/plastice part will break off. Just like any rubber plastic product.

It is very portable and able to handle all my needs from webcam, cell phone and Nikon D-7000. The last (bottom piece) latch doesn't latch tight enough so it slipps down way less than 20lbs (its max weight). I had it replaced 2x and 2nd one was little better so keeping it.

First monopod ever and this has to be the best one possible. Essential tool with a telephoto lens and especially shooting on the move. I may very well buy a second just to keep in the car.

use mono-pod for the first time - functioned nicely to stabilize photo taking and functioned nicely as walking stick.
