Don't Buy for an SLR

Don't know what I was thinking. I bought this for my 50D, not a good idea. It's cheaply constructed, and not very stable. It's hard to tighten without breaking. Twice it fell over with my camera! Might work for compact cameras or small video cameras.

Velbon CX-570 Tripod

I use this tripod for all my photo assignments. It's just the right size and weight. It's weight gives me confidence that my equipment won't be at risk. Very easy to setup and use. Nice fluid head.
