Lightweight, stable, sturdy construction. The weak link in this product is the pan-head; it is workable and reliable, but serious photographers in action environments will want a better head. An integrated bubble level would also be a welcome addition. The legs are adjustable to different angles, but on my tripod one leg is very difficult to get in and out of one of the positions. However, overall, this is a great deal and appears to be a well-made product. If you consider the pan-head to be a 'freebie' with purchase of a carbon fiber tripod you won't be disappointed.

Comes with a basic pan head which I wanted to replace with a ball type. Screw on base is of a different thread that most bases unless you remove the enlarging screw from the base of the head that comes with the tripod. This needs to be threaded into the new head... somewhat of a pain. I can see an engineer's finger prints all over this part of the design. Otherwise an excellent tripod.
