david l : I have a Manfrotto MH054M0-Q2 Ballhead, however the thread does not match with the Velbon that I bought. any suggestion? thanks David LiuJIIN-LANG L : I bought the Velbon GEO E360A tripod from Adorama but returned right away because the actual load capacity stated by the manufacture is less than what the Adorama's website described. This would lead to little margin for me for future equipment growth. The Manfrotto MH054M0-Q2 has a tripod mount thread size of 3/8" and the Velbon GEO E630A's head attachment fits only 1/4"-20 thread (unlike the Velbon GEO E630 model, which comes with a head attachment fitting for 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16 threads.) You have two options: either return the tripod and looks for the one that has 3/8” head mount or find an adapter that converts a 1/4"-20 thread to a 3/8"-16 one (if you can find one). Good luck! Good Value Carbon Fiber Tripod

I was looking for a replacement tripod for my 30 year old aluminum Velbon. Great value, hard to find carbon fiber tripod this good at this price. I would buy it again.
