Nice Tripod for 6 pounds capacity or less.

Well built. Nice feel. easy to use. Velbon makes some great products. I would liked to have given five stars. Because it list Load Capacity at 12 pounds but no way 12 pounds. I had to strip down my equipment to use this tripod. My Canon with the 24-105 F4 lens, flash bracket, flash, and battery pack was to much. It felt to weak to carry it all so I had to remove the flash and off shoe bracket and the battery pack to feel safe using it. After that it was good.

The Velbon Ex-630/F Aluminum Tripod is a 3.7-lbs aluminum camera support with a three-way pan and tilt head. It can reach a maximum height of 66.1" with the geared center column fully extended and it has a minimum working height of 24.2". This portable tripod folds down to 24.2". The Ex-630/F will support a maximum of 12.0 lbs. The camera plate turns 90deg. to the right for shooting in portrait mode. The diameter of the tripod legs is 1.02" (26mm).
