Nice for the price

Decent head, easy to level with three bubbles. Actually, a bit in between my intended uses; either too heavy or too light, and/or a bit too much or too little offset for the digital solutions, so may may have to dig some of the old film gear out of the closets and cabinets to get optimal use from this puppy. Nicely made, works as it should.

Good alternative to ball head

Works great and makes setting the camera level so much easier. Also the controls allow for quick adjustment of the camera position

About Velbon PHD41Q 4 Way Pan/Tilt Revolver Panhead, 6 lbs

The Velbon PH-145Q is a all die-cast metal lightweight and compact "revolving" pan and tilt head that features a left side mounted pan/tilt control handle and right tilting camera mounting platform, eliminating shadows, with two comfortable rubber-coated control handles, and a quick release #QB145 camera mounting plate that measures 2" x 1.77".

It incorporates three bubble-levels for precise and accurate leveling. The flexible revolving design allows each of the three axis to revolve 360° independently from the other directions. Please note this head Does not work with ULTRA-LUXIF or ULTRA-LUXISF.
