The Velbon QHD-41Q Magnesium Ball Socket Head with it's built-in quick release mechanism. is compact, and lightweight as the ballhead is manufactured from magnesium alloy. The magnesium construction allows for a 20% weight reduction in weight over traditional metals, while it still maintains the same quality and stability. The one-touch locking knob controls both the panning and ball movement at the same time. This head supports a load up to 5 lb. and is ideal for a compact SLR or a Mini-DV camera.
